OECD publishes first systematic review of financial education in Bosnia and Herzegovina 8/18/2026 The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has published the first systematic review of financial education in Bosnia and Herzegovina, prepared within the framework of the five-year Technical Assistance Project for Financial Education implemented by the OECD/INFE, with financial support from the Ministry of Finance of the Netherlands. The review provides a comprehensive overview of financial education programmes and initiatives in Bosnia and Herzegovina, identifies key challenges and gaps, and sets out proposals for future action. The document particularly highlights the leading role of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as its continuous efforts to advance financial literacy and financial inclusion. This review provides an important foundation for further strengthening and the systematic development of financial education in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
