Savings Day in the CBBH 10/31/2024 The Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina marked the International Savings Day - October 31 - through educational visits of elementary and high school students to the Head Office of the CBBH, the Main Unit Sarajevo, the Main Unit Mostar, the Main Bank of the Republika Srpska Central Bank of BH, the Branch of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Pale and Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina Brčko Branch. On the occasion of International Savings Day, the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina opened its doors to more than 400 elementary and high school students from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina! During the visits, which lasted from October 29 to 31, the young people had the opportunity to learn more about the history of money, the importance of saving and the role of the Central Bank in issuing our currency, the convertible mark. With these visits, we promote the importance of financial education for young people, encouraging elementary school students to understand the importance of saving as a foundation for acquiring basic knowledge about the function of money, and high school students to learn more about its function and role through direct insight into the work of the Central Bank.
